  • Three-quarters of a cup of unsweetened cocoa.
  • A cup and a half sugar.
  • Three-quarters of a teaspoon of salt.
  • Baking powder, three-quarters of a teaspoon.
  • Sodium bicarbonate teaspoon and a half.
  • Only two eggs.
  • Three-quarters of a cup of milk mixed with (one tablespoon of vinegar).
  • Three tablespoons of oil.
  • A teaspoon of vanilla.
  • Warm water three quarters of a cup.

To prepare the packaging:

  • 450 gm chocolate (finely chopped).
  • Corn syrup a quarter cup.
  • Two and a half cups of cream.
  • Butter as needed (unsweetened for greasing the tray).

How to prepare a fragile chocolate cake:

  • Preheat the oven at 175 degrees Celsius.
  • Grease two trays with butter, then sprinkle them with cocoa.
  • To prepare the cake: In an electric mixer, put the cocoa, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and sodium bicarbonate, and mix the ingredients slightly on a low speed.
  • Increase the speed of the mixer, and add the eggs, milk, oil, water, and vanilla extract.
  • Mix the ingredients well for about 3 minutes until they are completely combined.
  • Divide the mixture into two trays and bake in the oven for 35 minutes, or until the cake is done.
  • To prepare the coating: Place the chocolate in a heat-resistant bowl.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, add the cream and the corn syrup and bring to a boil.
  • Pour the cream mixture over the chocolate and let the chocolate melt without stirring it.
  • When it is completely dissolved, mix the mixture from the middle to the outside, and do not mix it too much.
  • Put the packaging in the refrigerator until it cools down and freezes a bit, with the need to stir it every 5 minutes so that it does not become thick.
  • Pour two cups of the frosting over one cake mold, then put the second cake mold on top of the first, then cover the top and sides with the remaining frosting, then serve.
